Default Distributor Advance Sources

In your experience, what do you find better, Manifold vacuum or ported vacuum for Distributor advance?
Any benifits to either? Or does it really not matter?

Cheers,
Harry

Unclear what you mean by ported advance, but assuming you are looking for a advance/retard connection, best done in plenum, not on a individual cylinderas pulses will be boucing back and forth on a individual bassis.
