looks like my post about the m5(not mine) for sale has gone.

can someone clear up then that i actually broke a rule.

i honestly only put it on as a few people have bought m5's recently and someone may have been interested.just like when people put ebay links up for cars for sale they have seen that may be of interest to someone on here.

can a mod please pm me with a reply.

having noticed an increasing number of "why has my thread been deleted" posts recently wouldnt it be better if the mod concerned pm'd the poster to explain why and what rules have been broken?

 

so,are you telling me that it is ok to do this as its not my car or for my gain,just so long as i dont take the piss(this is a one-off).if so rob,if you read the post i asked if a mod thought it was ok(as you have said it is),could they move it to the appropriate part on passion ford subject to their approval-surely the appropriate place would have been the for sale section rather than the sin bin..........

so now do i have to re-do the advert in the for sale section?

yes i did martin,but along with this was a question asking if it was ok for me to inform people about this car as i was unsure.i also asked if it was acceptable for me to do this could a mod move it to the apporopriate section.

sadly the said mod pressed the wrong button.........not the end of the world but i wouldnt trust him now to be in charge of our nuclear bombs!

 

anyway its not the end of the world and i know where i stand.i was allowed to do it but the mod has made a simple mistake-no harm done.

just think about poor steph-she has just been evicted from the big brother house!

i am contemplating renewing my trade status as i feel the pf public are missing my super car bargains.im on holiday from monday so i will look at it when i return in 2 weeks........

i just thought that this car was such a bargain that people should know and to be honest the guy selling it has never heard of passion ford and wouldnt have a clue how to register.

Get 10x18s, 9 is way too thin for a 33GTR!

10x18 ET20 all round, with 265/35s, perfect, thats what most 33GTRs seem to run. I ran 10x18 ET30 with 265/35s, but 32s need a little less offset.

And didnt lose my bottle, more like realised the kind of wages im on...

Oh, looked into it quickly on GTR board, and some are running more like 15 offset, 275 wide tyres, allsorts, so what I said is dead conservative to be honest, but would still look good. Unlike 9x18s.

Go search for R33GTR offset on there.

 

my bimmer is on 9's with 255's - i would have thought u would want 275's minimum on a binliner for the rear - keep the front width down to stop tramlining, better feel, weight bla bla..

 

i read somewhere on the gtr board today that front and rears should be same rolling diameter on r33.which was why i was thinking 9" wide with maybe a spacer on the rear if it didnt sit right???????
