Does fitting a 22 mm to the rear make any real difference as we just put our 4x4 saff through a slalom test with cones and it was terrible, lifting up the back end on each turn even though it has adjustable Konis on the hardest setting.

So as a guesstimate where do you think the Konis should be set as I have them on the hardest setting at the moment, thinking that was good, should I set them soft or halfway in between. Somebody on here said it was just as well to make a ARB which I can do as the shipping across the pond would be silly money, if I do that what type of steel, obviously spring steel but high tensile or what?

Has to be sprung temepred steel, but steel content has to be precise as it needs to have other ingredients in it when made, that is why a lot of springs are snapping now, due to certain compounds being used less due to emissions.
I personally have always found KONI's too soft for my liking, but very good for the road.
If you are serious about handling the first thing I would do is to change to coilovers like AVO.
