golf mk2 oil surge problems?

Hi Guys,

1st trackdsay of the year at Abingdon today has seen off by bottom end by the sounds of things

I was wondering if its a known issue for sticky tyres (toyo R888s) and trackdays to kill big end bearings on mk2 golf GTis

They can oil surge if the level is a little bit down , you can use a windage try from a diesel and baffled sumps help , the sticky tyres will just increase the problem
