Have you seen Ricks car

I am a nutcase and not scared of much, my mate has a similar car and were thinking of hiring somewhere to map it as it IS far too dangerous to be mapping on the road at top seed.

Rick what about tagging onto one of the redline days there, as stavros has asked for cars on a few occassions now iirc, and obviously cost wouldnt just be down to you then

or what about getting the map 99% finished on the rollers, then tweek it whilst putting down some times on a redline/TV day ???

That is personally what I would do, only issue its then needing to be mapped twice which is hassle for Rick and Mark I would expect

try ringing or emailing them for a price:

http://www.bruntingthorpe.com/motor_...ry_proving.htm

or maybe one of the fast-ford guys on here will know because they hire it quite regular?

It's normally £50 per car per hour. Mags get a discount, but that's the standard price unfortunately!

My error then Rick.

However I'd rather pay that than get caught doing 180mph up the A1 in a Nova

£117.50 .

And Nick is correct, you share it with who-ever is there.

Can sometimes be very amusing, as we were there when they were testing the new Noble that is about to come out shortly (M50?), and we were doing 175mph and rapidly closing it down, where we then outbraked it for the end of the runway and then proceeded to fuck off in the distance around the handling area .

ah right i see.

i was once at brunters with fast ford, a few of us going round that really rough oval circuit, but one at a time. unfortunately, at the wide end somebody was doing testing on the rolling over of a fuel tanker! was a bit wierd zooming past it at speed, but i'd rather that than going round a track full of playstation-style clowns

If you ask when you ring up to book they will tell who else is going to be up there to sum extent most of the time though if you go up through the week you can have the whole track to do as you please as i youst to take my old 3i round there when i was on my tea/lunch breaks.
