Assuming its a well specced MR2 turbo, then its too reliable and too quick to pass off as a real one, lol

How cool would that be:
Buy it,
drop a well-specced turbo lump in,
write "REPLICA" on it in big letters
piss over any real 355 you come across...

I don't understand why people do this? I don't think I have EVER seen a decent ferrari rep, they all look fucking awful, and the second you fire it up, it sounds rubbish
Been looking at 355's on pistonheads, you can pick one up now for 30-35k at the lower end of the market
, what are the running costs like? I bet they are not a lot worse than your average cossie

ah fuck that mr2 conversions always look funny especially as 355s aint that rare and the possibility of one pulling up next to you would just make it worse

Its the opposite on fire up.
Fire up an mr2 and it purrs away nicely, fire up a 355 and it sounds like someone is shaking a tin of nails.
Different story when on song though

what's wrong with dropping a V8 into the back and making it warble?
after all, there is plenty of space in the front todrop a smaller engine into for the economy run

This is the best one I've seen
A lot or work went into that. Still not something I'd ever even consider doing personally though

Agreed, those rear wheels just don't seem to sit right!
I looked and it and thought ooh, what sort of a rep is that then???
Oh wait, it isn't...
Very nice though, mate of mine bought one the back end of last summer

Sorry but I also don't think that 348 sits right on those wheels, it looks too high and the rears look wrong. Lovely car though
