I was petrified at this wedding that would happen! luckily, most of the birds there were pikier than me!

And as Lee states, i knew which dress came from new look, primark, bay trading, H&M, river island, and i think i was the only one wearing a next dress!!! thank god!

PMSL -

I was at a wedding last month where three guys had the same shirt on, they decided after the initial "shock horror", they would become friends and drinking buddies for the remainder of the night.

Was a funny night from the Team Topman Trio

BUT yes I dont think three women would handle the situation the same.

I would definitely have had to either of

1) gone home

2) gone shopping immediately

or

3) sulked and cried

The thing for men is, if someone else has the same clobber on as you, it makes you feel fantastic, stylish and great. Like, someone else is wearing it, so it must be good.

Surely if you never see anyone else in your dress, it must be tacky?

Maybe this is a way to fund the horsepower addiction, selling "distressed clothes"

I wouldnt notice TBH, most days if someone told me to close my eyes and then asked me what I was wearing I wouldnt actually be able to answer anyway as its just whatever is at the front of the wardrobe gets picked out, I dont actually stand there and think "today my life needs a black shirt in it not a blue one" it just doenst make any difference, I dont see how people need to wear different things on different days unless they are doing something very specific that day.

Going back to my days at Uni and when I was always working on cars (my rst etc) I used to not remotely care about clothes. I was given an Omega watch for my 21 that is 18 carat gold - I chipped (dented) it a couple of times in the first few weeks when the boost hoses blew off the bottom of my pace intercooler and reaching into the engine bay it hit something sharp...

Nowadays its different though, I dress well for work, nice suit, loakes shoes, double cuff shirts, hand woven silk ties... Looking pretty smart. I know some people spend even more money on their suits for work but I think there is a limit!

I just decide if something is reasonable value for money or not. I have diesel jeans, I have califorina lifestyle 575 jeans etc. But I also have a couple of next shirts and other things.

I just couldn't turn up to a date dressed anything other than immaculate. Tends to be that the girls that I like the look of, would notice if I was wearing oily "asda" jeans lol... thats what changed me... became single and had to take a shake to my wardrobe, even through out the old green trousers and stripey woolly jumper that I wore everywhere :-D (some people will rem them from the first ring trip etc )

As for this tv business - I bet a 60" plasma rocks - always make the decision using ur eyes not someone elses opinion, I am sure you can over spend for no improvement on this type of technology.

Cheers

Cant imagine changing like that just through a need to pull birds.

Mind you, I guess if I ever go a while without getting laid I might change my mind.

The Tv does indeed ROCK!

Toptip for you mate. Loakes shoes are old fashioned and wanky and not cheap either.

I always used to wear Jeffery West shoes... and they were cool but a 250-300 sheets a pop they are not cheap...

BUT 2 years ago Jeffery West was signed by Marks and Spencer to do an 'autograph' range...

They are great shoes and some of the designs are almost identical to the ones in the West boutiques....

But they are £50 a pair!!! I've bought LOADS. Great wheels mate. get involved... They even have Jeffery Wests name in them so you don't feel a pikey!
