Default bathrooms

i'm in the process of renovating my bathroom. at the moment, we have a bath, toilet, wash basin and separate shower cubicle in there.

i don't know whether to stick with that layout, or change it a bit. in germany we had 2 basins which was really nice, but then we had a huge bathroom that was easily big enough for a bath and shower cubicle. if i was to go to 2 basins, i would then not have space for a separate shower and would need to go for a shower in the bath, probably with one of those baths that has one big end on it.

i have to consider that i may be selling the house soon, not the best time i know, so maybe it's not the wisest time to be spending out on bathroom suites if i can stick with what i've got and just redo the tiling and flooring.

what would people prefer when buying a 3 bed family house?

thanks

Space permitting i would prefer everything seperate and 2 sinks. Unfortunately that ideal comes at a price lol. We had a similar predicament and decided in the end to go with a keyhole shower bath and have to a degree the best of both worlds. No pics im afraid, which is a shame as im quite proud of it lol

cos the girlfriend doesn't like me pissing in it when she's cleaning her teeth

you don't need 2 sinks, but it's nice to have. when you're both getting ready to go out, she can be shaving in one, while i put my make up on over the other

as maria says, it doesn't really matter if you have shower standing in a bath or a separate cubicle, so a keyhole bath would allow enough space to enjoy the convenience of 2 sinks. there is not enough room for 2 sinks, separate shower and full size bath, and i would prefer to have a big bath so that 2 people can easily get in, neither of which are short
