Default welder question...

Been looking at getting a welder. Is a 90 amp mig OK for use on a car. Battery tray, chassis rail etc.

Thanks

I've got a 150 amp SIP, had it at least 12 years, used every week, no problems at all, even on this stuff.
Gasless have thier uses, but ARE very fierce, ie they won't do thin stuff very well, but DO work outside in the wind.

All migs can do alloy, just load it up with ally wire and argon and bob's your uncle. You get better results with a seperate spool gun as ally wire is softer and gets caught up in the liner.
It'll never be as good as TIG but is ok for some stuff. Same for brazing too.
