No, you're thinking of "Save Me" .

"Spread Your Wings":
Sammy was low Just watching the show Over and over again Knew it was time He'd made up his mind To leave his dead life behind His boss said to him 'Boy you'd better begin To get those crazy notions right out of your head Sammy who do you think that you are? You should've been sweeping up the Emerald bar'
Spread your wings and fly away Fly away far away Spread your little wings and fly away Fly away far away Pull yourself together Because you know you should do better That's because you're a free man
He spends his evenings alone in his hotel room Keeping his thoughts to himself he'd be leaving soon Wishing he was miles and miles away Nothing in this world nothing would make him stay
Since he was small Had no luck at all Nothing came easy to him Now it was time He'd made up his mind 'This could be my last chance'
His boss said to him 'now listen boy You're always dreaming You've got no real ambition you won't get very far Sammy boy don't you know who you are? Why can't you be happy at the Emerald bar?'
So honey Spread your wings and fly away Fly away far away Spread your little wings and fly away Fly away far away Pull yourself together Because you know you should do better That's because you're a free man Come on honey

Save me thats the one

Looking at the lyrics Mike, I don't think I've heard that one!

Will have a listen when I get home tonight! Might even remember it when I hear it you never know

Tie your mother down and in the lap of the gods are good

I've got a live concert at wembely and it is simply AMAZING

Freddie says to the crowd something along the lines of:

"I've been hearing roumers about a certain band, by the name of Queen, and the roumers are that they're gonna split up; what do you think?"

Everyone shouts NO!!

Freddie says

"They're talking from here [points to his arse], we're gonna stay together, until we fucking well die I'm sure of it"

The next song was Who wants to live forever, and it was their last major tour, it was only a few years later he died, I think he knew tbh...

Like many of you have said, none of their tunes were bad!

My top three are:

1. Those were the days of our lives.
2. Radio ga ga.
3. I want to break free.

I like them all tbh though!!

There is acutally a line after that with him saying "We are not doing to bad for 4 ageing Queens"

Mike, that video was filmed in Roger Taylor's garden and took approx 8 hours to get right.

Mind of useless information

Favourite?
Thats a tough one.

Does anyone else have the 'Made in Heaven' album?
Most songs on there seem to have been written from the perspective of a dying man. Proper heartfelt emotional stuff, almost make a man find some grit in his eye...

My favourite Queen song is "Those were the days of our lives".

If ANY of you havent seen the show We Will Rock You, go and book it now. My missus took me to see it for my birthday in January and it was out of this world. I want to see it again. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!

That live aid performance blew everybody away, If you watch it all you can see him feeding off the crowds reaction.

Love it in an age of costume designers and make up artists that Freddy turned up to Live aid in some wranglers a vest and trainers and a dog collar around his arm.

PS a lot of these so called 'pop stars/singers' and i use the term loosely... 'bands' (you know the ones with 4 or 5 people in but dont play any instruments) which are around now could only dream of being able to perform as well as Queen in that Live Aid link above!
