Default 2wd Rear Beam.

Hope some one can help me identify the rear beam I've just bought. It was advertised as a Escort Cos / 4x4 ream beam but when it arrivd it had a solid rear disk & caliper on one of the arms. The guy selling it said it came out of a 4x4 Saph Cos but how can I check for sure.

Its going to go into my Escort Cos which currently runs the standard 7" diff. I've been told it will fit ok as long as all the bits are transferred over from my existing beam but the diff may need a spacer plate.

Is their a way to distinguish the 4x4 from the 2wd.

Thanks for any help.

bracket on the pigs head on the left as you look in from the back is straight for a 4x4 or doglegged for a 2wd.
