Boiler tripping
If water has got into it there will be a dead short to earth this can be measured by using an insulation tester commonly known as a megger, the reading will be given in ohms and should be proven on a decent earth.if you have a good earth it will give a reading of 0.00ohms, then megger the boiler if water has got right in it this will give a reading of o.oo ohms or just above , hence dead short to earth,if good will give a reading of 999.99 (infinity). but anything above 1 meg ohm is considered ok and useable. Hope this is of some help.

What a load of shite, you should never carry out an insulation resistance test on a boiler. Great way to make sure the PCB is fucked though because it will be afterwards FFS
