Default FAO anyone with dog knowledge!! help!!

This week me and the missus are staying over at her friends house looking after their dog whilst they are on holiday - the thing is a little shit!!!!!!!! Need help!!!!

Basically its a 6 month old Jack Russell cross Spaniel (called Monkey!!) and its a nightmare!! Its always biting, scratching, hyperactive ALL the time. It has 2 longish walks a day so plenty of exercise and its played with when at home. All it does correctly is piddle / poop on the paper in the kitchen thankfully!!

How can we control it so it stops biting etc. I understand being only 6 months its going to do this to an extent but surely not all the time. If its not biting hands its going for socks, trousers etc etc, then if its not doing that its humping anything in sight!!!!

Last night i managed to get it to sit on command about 75% of the time but thats about it, but it doesnt want to listen to the missus!!

Any advice before I tie it up for the week??!!!!!!!

Cheers
Chris

why does it still pee/poop inside?

If it was biting me it would get a slap. if it continues i close my hand over the mouth and say NO and use the word GENTLE.

patience!!!

In all fairness a dog that age will constantly crave attention and to be entertained. Jack Russells are hyper at their quietest of times!!!

a neighbour recently bought a cross between a Jack Russel and a chiuaua. I havent seen it but i can imagine how much i'll hate it and think its yappy rat on a rope
Anyway its got a shit cross name...a Chrussel. now isn't that smart! I personally call it the Jack Wawa LOL

lambchop - reason it does it in the kitchen still is that they place where they live is quite small and they havent got a garden for it to poop in - hence they walk it a lot but it seems to like peeing when it gets back inside!!!!

Maria - attention isnt the word!!! The little fooker was even humping the TV stand last night!!!!!!!!

Daveyboy - definitely puppy teeth, razor sharp little gnashers!!

I think the best way for me to do it is not bother going round there and let her look after it!!!!!!

sounds like itss been proper spoilt,

a light tap on the nose and telling No, should work afetr awhile.

did i miss something, they let it shit in the kitchen ( paper on the floor! )

its only a small dog, litter tray is required!

sounds aswell like it needs it bollocks choped off!
