Just doing a bit of research for my next car
, does anyone know much about tuning the chevvy V8 ?
there are SO many variations on this engine, but looking at the 6.3 mainly, a company called american speed do a turnkey 720Bhp engine for 13k
, just wondering how much/what you need to get this sort of power out of one, or if it's worth just buying one of the newer ls6/7 engines ![ban-split](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/ban-split.gif)

I did a 6.4 that gave 693 horsepower for a McLaren M6, and when i was at Lister the LMP900 was producing around 600horsepower with air restrictors on the LS1 derived engine, there`s not too much trickery involved so if you know how to put engines together you won`t go far wrong. Decent heads, compression ratio and cam with the right manifold will work wonders on an otherwise stock small block Chevy.
