Default pikiey alert, nutters on electric pillons!!!

Was ment to start a job at one of my regular customers, only to get a phone call saying

"we have no electric, the pikieys have done it again!"

The pikies are nicking the electric cables from the pillons:shocke d:

im not talking about the massive massive ones, but the smaller ones which feed small areas/towns/villages like this size:

they get 2 trucks one at each pilon. throw a metal chain up into the cables around the pilon. this shorts out the grid and the power is shut off. they then climb up the 2 poles and cut the cable!!!!

this has happend twice in the last month!!! i know pikies are stupid, but arnt these things like 40,000 volts?

also whats happening is after they nick the cables just before dark about 8;30-9, they are then free to nick stuff under the cover of total darkness!

bastards!

oh yeh i know there not actually stupid, they dont miss a thing. i know a couple of them who are "semi" legal, they opperate a tile and brick reclmation yard, ive never known anyone to count, add up and do mathas so quickly before, they dont miss a thing.

once i wanted 850 tiles, and even after counting twice id actually taken 856, an honest mistake. they counted it in half the time it took me to count it twice. i thought they were gna do me over.

anyway what get me is how the hell did they come up with the idea. sod taking the risk of being fried on one of them buggers.

The miners actually started doing it during the strike when Thatcher was in power, so they are just copying effectively.

at a quarry we were working at a pikey wasnt so lucky, cut the power cable to a cement storage shed and got fried LOL, was a burn mark where the cable was sliced but no body, who would he get to treat such a nasty shock burn (if still alive)? oh and they knicked a new barrow of ours toococks.

they recently knicked the cast drain covers down a lane at Wolvey too, thats not on- bloody dangerous for anybody going down there in the dark
