my mates got a sierra 2.0 twin cam and its busted hes stuck at the side of the road at the moment lol... it idles fine but when he puts any pressure on the accelerator it splutters and tries to cut out any ideas?

could be a host of stuff mate; fuel pump; crank sensor; is he not in the rac or aa or somthing?

under the exahust in the block is a breather for the crankcase
this has probably split or fallen off and will need to be replaced

it's the most common problem for the sympttons you describe

it can also be the pipe that runs along the back of the head from this valve and into the inlet manifold

That VTEC graph is the best.

Only thing is you should put it at about 6000-7000rpm

Stupid Sierras, i suppose thats what you get for buying a cheap run-around.
4000miles of abuse..it and decides to break down when im driving normally at 30mph!
