Default Driftin... HGV Stylee... !!!!

It's not just for Cossies and Mk1/2 Escorts you know...

With over 500hp an 1700ft/lb of torque a tractor unit can join in...

I've just got back from my first day in an AUTO truck..

Just a tiny back-forward knob.. Not even a stick..!!! Must say tho, it grew on me.... All changes are made with a lovely throttle blip, and with the zorst brake on it drops down whilst revving it's nuts off.. IN EVERY GEAR.. Ace for scaring the crap out of unsuspecting pedestrians (the zorst brake sounds like a permanently chuffing DV )...

I love my job...

Now this is what you want, 1800bhp and around 5000lb/ft of torque.

0-100 in under 8 seconds

thats tiny turbo's

got a 50 litre V16 twin turbo engine sitting in work at the moment which pushes out around 2500 bhp at a very lowly 1500 rpm, but uses just over 60 gallons an hour when running

get pictures soon

Generator?

If anyone gets the chance to go see truck racing its highly recommended although now the supetrucks only race in Europe. I went to see the UK championship at Thruxton earlier in the year which wasnt as good but had to contenders from europe racing which made it better although they lapped the field before the end of the race

I went truck racing about 15 years ago and can confirm it's quite ace...

For me it was the tyre's screaching... a totally different noise to a car, and very 'eery' for want of a better expression...
