i got the boys another 360 so they have one for upstairs aswell, to get there saved games off the old harddrive on to new one what do i need to do? i was thinking i may need to put them on a storage device then put that into the other xbox..........

christ,i could do this on my ps3 from anywhere in the world, even if its switched off,i can turn it on via the internet, and use or add files, listen to my music etc

you need a data transfer kit. Connect new hd to the lead and put in the disk then it transfer the data over.
It does remove everything off the old hd though.
You need the kit from microsoft it took 3 month's to get here. By then i'd got hold of a second hand one so i've got a brand spanking new one here

As the xbox has achievement's and any way people could add or remove data from the hd would fuck it up mate

Ive got the cable you need. If you can get to Junction 9 on the M25 with ya new XB360 and the old hard drive I will swap them for ya

They come with the 120GB hard drive when brought seperate from a console or you maybe able to get one from Microsoft.

sounds real practical, hey why not write all the data on a piece of paper, and type it onto your new one

Yeah they do but when you get an elite there not included and you have to phone microsoft for one

You do seem to forget that the 360 was bringing gaming to a whole new level while Sony were still trying to get the ps3 to work what do you think the next offering from microsoft will be like? I'm pretty sure it will wipe the floor with the ps3

Oh and i own both before you chuck your toys out of the pram

yep...microsoft forgot to make the xbox work...hence miillions of faulty ones.

sony did it the right way
