The escort that crashed in the Morocco Gumball,
I was browsing an Auction on ebay for a rally spec motor and it said it was by Phil Cutts (who built the Escort that famously crashed on the Gunball in Morocco at 150+mph the driver walked away from the shell!). I just wanted to see this escort, as it got me all curious, i cant find any info on this car tho,

and martin doesnt do his own cages, so id put money phil cutts is the guy who prepared both bare shells before martin got to work on it.

excuse me for not knowing every fucking thing in the whole world it was a simple question writen in a non offensive way, everyone knows about the reyland one true, but i dont know if this guy has an imput on the reyland car, i was curious and thought that people on a ford forum may know or not, as this mentioned a cossie , which i deffo remember more than one at the begining of the gumball, having not followed this as intensly as some, i thought i would ask, fuck me, some people need to get over their egos

the reason the thread went how it did was you said the advert said it was a "motor" built by that bloke, who also built the escort.
and thats not what it says really, it says this phil cutts bloke sorted both shells, which he did it seems.

It would read that Phill Cutts built the Reyland car to somebody who didnt know about passionford.

Been asked before though IIRC, and Martin did indeed say it was Phil Cutts who did his cage I beleive.
