Default mk4 escort sunroof drain pipes

Do all mk4 escorts sunroof drain pipes finish inside the sills because shorly this is stupid.I know the rears exit behind the rear wheel arch but my front are just sitting there waiting to create rust or is it just me.

Mine are sitting in the wheely bin. PMSL.

I didn't really observe where they exit, but what you're saying does sound about right! LOL.

Yup, they go down the front pillars and into the sills by about 6 inches or so.

I wanted to re-route my front ones out of a hole somewhere (like the fiesta folk do) but they're too brittle to easily move about.
You can see them with your front speakers removed.

Make sure your sill drains are clear is all you can do..

Out of interest, where do the rears exit exactly? I've not found mine, I just assumed they went out the back somewhere...

Shit!
Get out their quick with a drill!

Seriously!
They'll fill up with water, the water will then well over the holes in the inner sills and rot your floor.

12 months time and you'll have rotten inner and outer sills, rotten seat mounts (they collect water), rotten floor - you name it..

First job I did was poke some wire up the drain holes and drill new ones where they had been mistakenly welded up/gunked over.
