my sister bought an xr3i cab (mark 3) a few weeks ago, and has nowt but trouble since.

judging by what she says (she lives 250 miles away in devon) it drives fine for first 30-40 seconds, then starts to splutter and hold back. she said the local garage (supposedly a bunch of monkeys) chainged the air flow meter, but its still doing it. if she leaves it for abit it will start fine and do the same.

what could it be?

on a probably unrelated note, she said the oil pressure light has started flickering, yet there is enough oil. oil pump?

 

the light is a common fault.sounds like it has s**t in fuel system.get sum redex and put in a full tank
