How hard wearing is flocking or does it go bald or patchy after a whilst......also what colours does it come in.....Ta...

How hard wearing the finish is depends on the type/quality of the adhesive used.

Many companies use adhesives that are much cheaper and easier to apply than the special two part epoxy resn i use, but they are no where near as hard wearing and may begin to shed fibres after a while.

Cheers for the replies, i'm in East London and ain't gonna be able to ring around until next week, whats a rough estimate for doing a 3-dr cossie dash if anyone knows???

Mines split and my mate Alun recons he knows a furniturer restorer that can recover my dash in very thin leather.......Same colour, or near as damb it........Will let you all know the outcome....Wilmot (Liege-Belgium)
