Euan it does sound like its doing the buisness power wise 350atw at 5000rpm with just 1.5 bar, but i was meaning more how early its on boost and the spread of the powerband. Wont find that out untill final cam timing has been done and the rest of the map finnished.
Euans power run graph for 502 that i found on another thread.

Spoke to CR turbo's today he gave me a price on a roller t4 and it seems reasonable altho i could save a couple of hundred quid getting an internally gated gt30. So i dont know which way to go, accordinfg to TT they say a Medium gt30 is maxed out at 475 BHP?

Yeah it was all in inc vat plus he did mentiom housing mod. Obviously i mentioned euan and his turbo. He went on about mike rainbird too. Think i got a good price as i am self employed in the motortrade.

Pete, if I told you the spec of my engine you would say It wouldnt work and I must have made a mistake.
My engine is an all round packge that has involved alot of testing to get wehere it is now.
Needless to say I think its an awesome package with a fantastic comprimise between power and driveabilty

I havent looked at his and you cant compare a engine dyno/Superflow to AVA RR unless you have run on both,
From what I have seen AVA do the same type static load hold revs and biuld boost,
If you search you will find one of my older spec engines showing 500hp and over 485ftlb on a Dyno dymanics RR which is done on a 3rd gear accelerated power run so you dont biuld the same low rpm boost as the others above.

Thanks for clearing that up, andy did say mark has seen 540 bhp on a well specced engine.
As long as it gives me what i want i'll be happy. And lets face it there not gonna be shit if you fit them.

its a 0.63 housing and compared to my mates 34 engine with same comp as me theres a fair bit of difference in spool up time. Wont be too bad on std comp with mild cams as my last engine were 8.5:1 on a tt t38 and that was full boosting by 4100

I would imagine the GT30 would be similar in terms of spool but would lose power against the T4 higher in the revs range.
I see full boost around 3.5k onthe road.
