Default "909" Sport box for 4x4 cosworth

A chap has this for sale :

"909 C/R Dog leg 5 speed gear box, straight cut 1st, 4:4 drop gears, 909 breather system, 909 gear change mechanism and mounting cradle, concentric hydraulic release bearing."

It has done less than 250 miles since being refreshed at Bara and he's selling this 2350£

Is it worth it ? I'm afraid about the 2nd and 3rd gears because they are not straight cuts. With 450lb/ft of torque, will this gearbox handle that much torque or ?

Thanks in advance guys.

speak to bara and see what they say
if it's had a recent rebuild then they must know what it was built to, a spec or a price

the sport box was built by for as the group n unit, is a very strong box, so much better than the early quaifes etc of the day, there are still parts knocking about for them if required, with the bits listed its worth the cash for a rebuilt box, if it was used then maybe a little less.

The Sport 909 boxes are better than a lot of people say and i bought the one Jon M600 had in his, which was a good box.Price is too steep at 2350 though.A rebuilt one went for 1550 on Ebay 2 weeks ago.

Ok thanks for the messages already, but can these "sport" gearboxes handle 450lb/ft of torque or will it break anyway ?
