was out tonight and a mate secided to reverse into the cossie - at some fooking rate as well, broken my headlight indicator twisted the panels behind and damaged the bumper. only had the car painted last bloody week and all she said as to why was she didnt think there was anyone behind her!

didnt think it was too bad until my painter looked today and pointed out the cracks that are just behind the finishing trim on the top of the bumper so all in all so far without the headlight bits and the finishing trim its coming in at Ł250 at mates rates bet she wished she looked in the bloody mirror, gotta try and get it done for bodmin on the 8th of june as well

just finished pricing it up and been told that i wont be able to get spares for headlights so a new pair it is am now looking at around Ł550, oops!

Bad luck that. Id be gutted if that happened to mine. I remember when a mate reversed into a mates car and bend all the headlight and bumper in. A bit of pulling and pushing sorted that one out though. I actually reversed into a mates work van when i first passed my test. It was almost new at the time and put a 12 inch scrape down the side! He just said dont worry about it, and said someone did it in a car park the next day!

Anyway, just stick standard headlights back on there mate. I think they look better anyway, and youll save your mate some money at the same time so everyones happy.
