Default BBQ

Well lads it's that time off year again to get all masculine, We are very fast approaching the season off burnt meat by the bucket loads.

However I'm currently looking for an Oil Drum type charcoal barbecue, but all I see is the imitation ones in B&Q and Argos.

Does anyone know off a place that sells these or can recomend any of the one's in Argos, wickes, B&Q or homebase that are built well.

I'm based in Essex and should you want to post pictures of your pride and joys than please feel free....................................

old oil drum a grinder and a welder? cut it open, weld on 4 legs, a hinge on the back, a handle on the front (carefull on that on though, dont open by hand when its alight ), 2 pieces of angle inside and a piece of mesh and a plate, thats all mine is, take about half a day to knock together.

stupid thing is with mine though, because of the shape of it, it seems like you've got no charcoal on, so you keep adding more, then you chuck your bangers on and cant get back near the damn thing for the heat
