R.I.P. Chris Richmond
Hi all, just to let people know a very good friend of mine has sadly passed away but i'm sure a lot of you will know him to. His name is Chris Richmond from chorley' lancashire and he very sadly took his own life on monday. Chris was an rs fan to the core owning numerous rs500's throughout the year's amongst other ford rs mark's, his latest collection boast's 1x black rs500 (369 i think) a very nice modified white 3 door (about 550 bhp) and a lovely bda powered mk1 escort. It's a sad thing to lose anyone close but when it's someone who is loved and respected by friend's and family as chris was it's absolutely devastating. Chris was an avid attender of ford show's and rs owner's meeting's, he regularly attended manchester rs owner's meet's and just last week took part in the lake's tour in cumbria. Aside from his love for rs he also loved doing a bit of pike fishing which is were my good friend and myself probably spent the most relaxing of day's and the deepest of conversation. Just felt i had to let people know about this absolute tragedy and for the people who knew chris an opportunity to find out. Anyway my good friend, already sorely missed by family, friend's and indeed myself. He truly was the nicest person i have ever known and gutted doesn't even come close, if any of you knew chris just pop up a reply as a mark of respect. Rest in peace my man and i hope you're in a happier place, if anyone deserves it it's you.

I have spoken to Chris over the phone many times and met up at a couple of shows in recent years and I am truly saddened by what`s happened... Don`t really know what to say.. Thoughts are with his family at this time.

Very sad news, was shocked to hear this had happened, was only talking to him on the lakes tour a couple of weeks ago where he seemed very happy and excited by his latest car purchases. RIP Chris, my thoughts go out to his family

i'm still stunned.
I will always remember when I took him round Oulton in my BMW and he loved it that much he forgot to talk... except for when we hit fluid on the track and had a big slide... 'Well Held' he said

Lay off Euan though guys, it was a fairly innocent question and Im sure he meant nothing offensive by it. Im sure it was a more, how to put it, "out of interest" question rather than wanting to find out so he could bitch about it.
