my mate in Hartlepool has just been laid off.
he's a sort of labourer type for a job n' builder, no specific trade just does a bit of everything.
he's a bit of an internet numpty so doesnt know what job sites to look on etc
is Hays Montrose worth contacting or is there better ones in that neck of the woods for labourers/builders?

Hays are that bad really, you could try Scantec / Coyle's / Rullion??
They my be not in your area but they will contract to most of the country.
BUT in today's wolrd you will need s CSCS card to gain access to building sites. Without it you will be turned away at the induction. Sounds silly that the CSCS system has been in force for over 5 years now but people still waste our time by turning up to site without them! ha

Just look on the JIB Wesite or just type CSCS into a search engine and follow it. There will be a booklet download which is basically a book with all the questions they ask so you can revise.
There are test centres all over the UK and it's roughly £30-40 to take the test and purchase your card if you pass.
