Those wheels are not genuine Lambo wheels, they are the cheap replica's we sell for £750 with tyres a set.
How ever , the fronts from a Gallardo would fit on a normal Audi, the rears are 10x18 et 30 with a 295/30/19 standard, so might stick out the arch just a bit!!
They would actually bolt on though as Lambo and Audi are same stud pattern & centre bore as are the MURCIELAGO although with a 13x18" rear...no chance of getting them buggers on!!

Lets compare shall we

Yes they may be alittle heavier, but the 2wd saph cossie 0-60 is 6.1, the S2 avant is also 6.1
The S2 Coupe is 5.9

Standard 2wd saph cossie book speed is 151.
The S2 avant is 150, the Coupe is 154.

Pretty much the same all round I would say

But as this thread was originally about an RS2, lets not forget that eh lol
0-60: 4.8
165mph

Does the STANDARD 4x4 cossie transmission handle over 400+bhp RELIABLY with full bore launches day in and day out?

Its a guy called Esso that owns a garage and lives in the same village as me. That has £35k+ spent on it and 650 bhp. Its truly fucking nuts.

Love Rs2's (and the 4's / 6's and 8's aswell)

Think this one may have had some modding done on it, not totally sure though

my m8 jim (jim s on here) has an S2, he has fitted porsche brakes to the front and the car is still going strong at 180k+ miles, he has just had to do the head gasket tho, due to a spark plug coming out, aparently a common problem.

Mine has Porsche 996 Brembos on the front too

The spark plug coming loose isnt the common problem, its people not fitting them correctly in the first place!

Well thats subjective isnt it... personally Ive never been a big fan of the escos

What spec is yours? Because standard for standard, there would be nothing in it between an Escos and an RS2, let alone an RS2!

There are plenty of non standard ones that would leave you for dead too...

Hardly a fair comparison if yours is not standard, and you didnt know the spec of the Audi

I want this Audi - Largely because it appears (judging by the way it lumbers round the track) to be standard apart from having a fuck off turbo!! Check out the sound when it comes on boost

http://youtube.com/watch?v=9k9Telwujb4&feature=related

Have always had a soft spot for the S4 estate. Lowered, 19s, leave the rest alone.

What makes you so sure it was S2's and not N/A Coupe Quattros?
To the untrained eye they are not easy to tell apart...

Coupe Quattro

S2 Coupe

thank for the comments on my s4as martyn said the s2/rs2 are corking cars and very good value for money now,the rs2 now has a cult following just like the cossies,i guess they are similar being very quick and practicle yet still able to whip supercars when needed

no point in having all that power if you cant drive for toffee is there.

them audi's are smart cars, always loved them. old school looks and go like the clappers

i think i'd rather have a cossie out the 2 as i'm a ford boy through an through, but the audis are MEGA cars!!

Well if you are going to compare your 500bhp to a standard S2/RS2 then its not even worth carrying on the conversation really is it

There are plenty of 500+ Audis that WOULD give you a run for your money

And a few more that will be completed over the next few months.

I run a 189k 3b s2 which posted 277.8bhp with a boost leak and was standard at the time apart from a chip of unknown origins.

I have owned it for a year now and day to day running to keep on the road has cost me:
50 quid for a new set of pads
25 quid for a metal dizzy gear

the other stuff is just tyres really due to having 19's on it (which went on with no arch mods just small spacers on the front)

Martyn's car is fast and he's done some nice mod's to it, they just seem to go on forever.

mine when I first got it, changed a bit since then.

Audis are a bit dull to drive but that the ONLY downside.

Great interiors. BOMBPROOF mechanicals, fast, classy, great looking...

COOL cars... the end!

I must admit some audi's are boring to drive, but do go well, especially when tuned up slightly.

Still must admit rear wheel drive saph's are good fun
