I have a 1.6 cvh turbo engine and the pipe that comes off the stat to the rad with the extra pipe for the turbo keeps splitting,what problems would i come across if i put a normal piece of water pipe between stat and rad and didnt feed the turbo with water?? Or has anyone got the said pipe that there not using? or the silicone version?

Not a problem at all really, the series one was not water cooled.

can i just disconnect the pipe an leave it as is or have i got to plug the lower pipe that goes to the rad? It wont affect the turbo??

disconnect it from both ends of the turboand block the one that goes to the rad that come sout the bottom of he turbo
you carnt just take the hose off
