CVH Clutch change.....
I need to change the clutch on my 1.4 Cvh Escort, I have never done it before but am no straanger to the socket set, so i will just take my time and keep it methodical. All I wanted to ask is, is it really as long winded as in the haynes manual i.e. engine crane to drop it down then open it all up? just need to plan how much time it will take me, lol.

Yes you need to drop it to gain clearance to pull the box off as it wont come off in situ because of the inner wing! Follow Haynes to the word and you cannot possible go wrong!
