can get 700 miles if i drive normally, but i drive like a cunt so between 500/600 usually

I had to put 20quid in at Pen-ripoff-silvania Shell yesterday too, that was about 2litres i think

Drove the Chaser to work and back for the first and LAST time ever, cost me about 35 fucking quid to get there and back in that thing!

Well I'm complaining! It's just a complete and utter ripoff. The government are taking far too much in tax from it and the petrol companies are now just profiteering because they know people need it.

A couple of guys from scoobynet started a thread a while back wanting to make a protest against the current fuel price rise trend.
They now have over 200 names on the protest of people who

are going to turn up and protest against the rise on fuel (car mainly)

One of the guys then made a web site with this protest in mind and now has 254 people joining in total.

Please pass this around if you feel that the public shouldnt be ripped off anymore and you want to do something about it,although if you do put your name down please turn up on the day as specified,this being Saturday 19th July 2008

Problem is now you only get 16 litres for £20 and then you got more like 22!

Currently around 12.5% of my takehome pay goes on just putting diesel in my car, let alone paying for repairs and servicing etc.

 

im putting in 55 squid of derv to fill up my 08 plate astra ive got for work its taking the piss !!! and what more my texaco card is now not owned by texaco as they have been bought out so all my points on my savings card are void !! gutted!!!!!!

 

Was talking about this the other day! One of my friends reckoned they are putting an addidtive into fuel to make it burn quicker!

 

mmmmmmmmm when i took my st to southend the other week thought it had used more fuel than normal to be honest and i normally drive the same and its motorway same as you for 105 miles ???

the BP near my house is £1.21 for super the bp just down the road in norton is £1.16 worth going a mile out of my way

 

£1.25 average for diesel around Derby. Whats even more worrying, is that if you think its bad now, wait till its at £1.50 a litre which is predicted for the next year!

 

I filled my 57 plate transporter up today,was running on fumes,i dont know how i made it to the filling station.
£101.05 for 82 litres.

are we suprised that many derv munchers are using pink?? i think not, i could fill the transit for 20 quid with the pink stuff, when i was hard up, to fill it at a proper pump we are talkin 100 shitters plus... fuck that!!

 

Well, imagine my shock yesterday, Shell in Wooton Bassett, Wiltshire, on Sunday night as I drove past was 124.9p a litre of derv, yesterday was 130.9 .... How the fuck can they justify that???? 5p rise in 4 days ..

They are just being cunts now, it has risen over 10p since the budget, they are just pushing to see how much people will put up with, profiteering cunts. And there has been a reduction in oil prices according to the news.
