Default engine numbers

right im just about to send log book off and have the colour changed on it

as im on a new engine, i thought i would do the engine number on the log book also

my new engine has no numbers on it at all

only what field motorsport have put on

would this be ok? or shold i just leave that bit?

My engine has no numbers or id at all, it 'was' a new short engine from Fords

Nope, very straightforward, I supplied Fields contact details in the covering letter just in case there were any suspicions about authenticity.

2 weeks later I got the logbook back all up to date.

I had an engine with a ground off engine number, the reg said NUMBER UNKNOWN, didn't spot it till a full rebuild!!
