Default Need a PC

I've just been given our moving in date for the house and this means I'm going to have to buy a PC to ensure my continued access to PF.

Where should I look and how much am I going to need to spend. Not interested in gimmicks Ii just need a machine that will do the job and have XP and MS Office.

Any websites I can look at?

CheeRS in advance peeps

do you want to keep the old PC?

if not do you want a new monitor/keyboard etc. etc. ?

ring me tonite and i'll go thru options with you...

if you want a nice cheap PC from a shop, go for a dell, their prices are stupidly cheap.

if you just wanna upgrade to a better spec baseunit, you can save yourself a bit of cash (and get something with a very good spec) by going DIY...

(by DIY i mean jim tells you what to buy, you buy it, give bits to jim, jim assembles and gives you back working PC... lol) obviously this service would be FOC to yourself
