What a silly comment, he just needs to put the amps behind the speakers not the other way around.
Its not a dozen though, its 30
BUT clearly he has done it that way cause he loves the look of the valve amps, and who can blame him

Aint been on there for years mate lol. I think all the members bar a few left since it just got so dry in the end. Wasn't really much happening and before I used to use it for advice and stuff but I know my car inside out and built it from scratch and know what works and what doesnt so dont really need to be there.
How's you been anyway...hows the cos?

may be...if you only turned on a handful of the speakers. but there's no way that the sound arriving at the listener will be even vaguely phase coherant - even if you spent weeks time aligning the direct sound, first order reflections would be all over the place...
and as some-one pointed out, the amps are in front his 'front fills' or front surround, whatever you want to call them. they will act like a filter and also affect the dispersion, and phase relationship of the sound wave.
lastly, all his speakers are very low-down, with the exception of the low-end drivers in the large L/R speaker stacks. this will mean the imaging of the system would be very artifical/inaccurate, and would give the listener a sense of the audio being detached from the action on screen, even if they were accurately sync'd.
