just in the process of selling my rs turbo and thinking of buying a focus. need to save some cash and running the rs isn't really helping matters!

basically i want either a 1.8 or 2.0 focus, just not sure which one to go for. is the 2.0 much quicker than the 1.8. think its about 10-15bhp buts will it be noticable?

Have a look for a TDCI sport..looks the same as the ST and the engine is pretty sweet

 

too expensive, i've only ever been in a 1.8, i know they are quite nippy. just dont wanna get bored easily, not quite the same as an rs

 

Get the 2ltr then..not much difference in performance but you do get more kit on the car, traction control, rear disc brakes and 16" wheels if you get the zetec.

 

its not going to be rs turbo type quick but my 1.8 goes reasonably well and ive managed to embarass the 318 and 320 bmws before and a c180 merc komp as well.

im producing 132bhp with K&N, full piper, st170 manifold, decat and bluefin with and 142ftlbs of torque.

 

Ive got a 1.8 focus edge, came with rear disc brakes, 16" and its a zetec, pulls very well and handles well round the corner too
