Default Need Small filter for GT30... Where ????

I need a very small filter for my GT30 as the turbo sits not far from the back of the headlight.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where I might be able to get one.

As you can see from the picture below there isn't that much space.

Many thanks,
David

whats wrong with the setup you have now? or get a 90 degree elbow and have the filter pointing downwards if you get what I mean

edit or get a hose made up for it if a standard 90 degree will not fit without being squashed and have the filter pointing downwards

Thanks for the replies people. Some more helpful than others eh Lee. Lol.

There is an air filter on the end of the pipe. However the pipe is from the local hardware store. It is used as the exit vent for tumble dryers. The car is off to be mapped properly in a July so I want everything properly sorted. It could crumple under full boost. I don't fancy paying for the turbo again if the pipe or parts of get sucked in.

The angle that the pipe bends at is alot more than 90 degrees. Looking at the cost of some of the small air filters; I think I will perhaps take the car to Bailey or Adrenaline Race and Performance and get a custom pipe made to fit the airfilter I already have on there.

Thanks for the advice of where to get the filters. Some of them are piss taking prices. Maybe I'm in the wrong business. But surely there can't be that many stupid people that would pay that much for an air filter!

I am sure Reyland have some hose that they use that doesnt collapse under boost, you could just use that and keep your setup as it is then?

I think I need something metal to hold the air filter in place as it keeps resting against one of the fans at the moment. I can hear it knocking about if I give the car some abuse Andy.

I'll give you a call one evening next week if you are in?
