Default computer peeps ...

i need some help ....

it looks like a virus has slipped past my defences ...
i now think i have lost admin control ...

i can't install norton wmi updates as it says i dont have admin control

ok .. so in the registery does anyone know where to start looking ??? im sure its a windows xp pro problem rater than a norton one ..

i have uninstalled all norton & symantec stuff i can find including trwaling the registery for all components and removing them .... aswell as xp service pack 2

Download McAfee Stinger and see if it will clean it.

well the upshot was..................

format ... re install oh well

as for what it was i have no idea... it locked my supervisor controll out on norton ...
so i couldnt update the thing tried the uninstall as they say never worked... so back to trying to load everything now...
