Default 3dr Windscreen Scuttle

Any tips for removing it?

Having a screen done today, and dont really trust them to take it out carefully.

Hope do you remove those plastic screw in peices?

cheers

The screws have little covers that need prised off (cover them as you do this because if it pings away you may never find it!)

The screws are plastic and go into plastic plugs on the car and may well be stuck solid. If they do snap, you can get new sets off someone on ebay for about £7.50 delivered.

The actual cowl parts are near impossible to find anywhere at sensible money though so don't forget the two wee screws - one on each corner piece - that are hard to see.

Spray the tops up with a bit of WD before unscrewing them

i bought a flat sanding wheel, and velco discs, you welcome to borrow mine, but there like £15 for both from B&Q so not really worth the drive, but your quite welcome to it.

yes it sits perfect on those old springs, but unfortunately i would have no arches left at all.

will have to have a compromise.
