I have been trying to insure my 1.8 diesel fiesta on my own this week end and everywhere i phone is giving me prices of 4k .
But i was thinking im 18 in couple of weeks and would i be able to get classic car insurance on a Mk1 or 2 fiesta 1.1 or 1.3
any help would be great

also i could have it on limit miles as only really travel to work which is about 5 mile away

classic insurance at your age i found is a fooking joke try adrian flux i insured my mk2 rs2000 with them at 18, now im 21 with the cossie and they do that for £875 fully comp.
mk3 fezzas are crap to insure for what they are really quite high group even for a base model.
try the price comparison sites and tescos own as they should bring up some decent ones for you.

My friends 18 year old daughter got a cheap policy for there Mk1. Just shop around.

I started on a mk 1 Fiesta and why not. The are not quick but are economical.
