Classic car insurance Question

I have been trying to insure my 1.8 diesel fiesta on my own this week end and everywhere i phone is giving me prices of 4k
.
But i was thinking im 18 in couple of weeks and would i be able to get classic car insurance on a Mk1 or 2 fiesta 1.1 or 1.3
any help would be great

classic insurance at your age i found is a fooking joke try adrian flux i insured my mk2 rs2000 with them at 18, now im 21 with the cossie and they do that for £875 fully comp.
mk3 fezzas are crap to insure for what they are really quite high group even for a base model.
try the price comparison sites and tescos own as they should bring up some decent ones for you.
adrian flux wont quote online but you can email or request a callback

My friends 18 year old daughter got a cheap policy for there Mk1. Just shop around.
I started on a mk 1 Fiesta and why not. The are not quick but are economical.
