Java help please....
Right loads of sites keep giving me htis pop up saying I need a java file that is missing to view blah blah saying I should download one.... but every time I click the download botton I get this site;
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...er/javaxp.mspx
Now it's pissing me off cos I can't list anything on ebay as it won't let me see the "choose file catagory" bit cos it needs Java

Nope! Didn't help at all!
Just tried ebay again and got this come up;
Then click Download and I get the page in the first link
Or click Cancel and get this;
So that I can select a catagory to list for an auction!
Someone please tell me how to get around this as this never used to happen

It's not making any difference to me at all tho... Still get that error pop up on a lot of sites (can't see streaming video, or animated links etc)... Do I have to do something else once it has installed or something?

aye dude, open Internet Explorer....press "Tools > Internet Options"
Then click the "Advanced" tab and scroll down to "Microsoft VM".
Make sure the 3rd box down in there is ticked ("Jit compiler for virtual machine enabled").
what happens next?
