Default What do you guys think??.......

Hi guys. Where do I start :-(

Bought an RS Turbo for £250. Bought it off a very good friend of mine who gave me a list of what needed doing, (welding, valve stem seals etc). Have rebuilt head and done various bits and pieces but then I noticed the block was seized!! After removing 3 and 4 piston and slackening off 2 The crank decides to move. Piston 3 crumbled in my hand and 4 is black :-(This was a brand new engine about 4000 miles ago provided by ford!!!). Now I hear through the grape vine that a guy came to buy the car before my mate offered it to me and on the test drive it went BANG! Really Reaaly pissed as you can imagine but what do I do frfom here.....

We just had a little one and cant afford to fix or get replacement block. I bought this car because it was mainly time and not money needed. Any advice would be so much appreciated. I know its a good excuse for zvh but again more money. Do I break it or sell it as a whole or what???? Completely gutted :-(

He is (was) a really good mate of mine. We known each other good few years now and he always skint and selling stuff just for a bit of p**f so thought nothing of it. I still would have paid £250 if I had known cos I would have bought a block but now cant afford it cos spent it on other stuff ARGHHH

Get what you pay for I'm afraid....!
Depends how much you want to hang onto it really, if you need the money and want the car gone then break or sell it, can u not just get another 2nd hand standard RST engine cheap???
