are these common, my friend dropped in with his car claiming it wasnt running well, so i had a brief look and it seemed like it was running on 3

i plugged in my code reader and it came up with fault code p0302 which is a cylinder 2 misfire. i unplugged this and it made no difference so i can say its this thats not firing.

i replaced the lead and plug with a SH i had in the shed and made no difference, can i assume it is the coil at fault, or could it be something else.

if it is the coil, wheres the best place to get a coil for a 1.6 zetec focus, and if not any suggestions would be helpful

I think it's a common enough problem, the coil pack went on my wifes 1.4 Focus a couple of months back.

zetec coils are nearly as common as renault and peugeot coils for packing up, AA vans carry at least 2 in stock at all times!

Are they hard to fit?
