torque stages for a cosworth head??

Default torque stages for a cosworth head??

what is the torque stages for a cosworth head? i've been told two different way's. 30nm then 70nm then a 90 degree's turn or 25nm then 50nm then a 180 degree's turn.

what is best???

I do 25,50 then 90degrees then 90 degrees

Never had a problem in over 20 years

do you check them again after it's been run for a bit??

After a couple of hundred miles i just check them at 95 foot pound on the torque wrench

asked this same question, both are fine, as the end result is the same, personally i prefer the 90 90 method, as trying to do 180 around the engine bay is a coooooooont

90/90 is much easier.

after you have done the final 90 degree's turn do you check them all at 95 foot pound??

forgot to mention i'm using a cometic gasket with stanard bolts, this does'nt make a differance does it?

yeh 2nd that. 180 is pain in arse and also seems way ott. plus you look like ur doing some sort of yoga/ti chi practice doing 180 turns with a big bar
