But there was never a 1.3 class for rallying?? And what was with those stupid rear wings??? No wonder they never won anything, must have slowed them right down.. And I thought front wheel drive was no good for rallys?

No No No ,, Foolish Peeps...group A Racing Regulations Of That Time Allowed Manufacturers To Build A Evolution Model Of A Homologated Car , The Amount Built Had To Be Sold For Public Use At Least 10% Of Model Production Which Was 500 , Because Of This Ford Planned To Put The 500 In Storage /

a low mile rs500 got to be 20k+,,no one would pay that money for a d reg car unless they knew loads about them
