Grp A K&N vs Standard K&N
Evening all,
Just wanted to ask a question. I've got the chance to get a Grp A K&N for a cossie and with correct adaptor to fit to my focus for a pretty OK price. Just wondering what people think to getting one? I have the standard K&N size Gen II filter on mine but the cossie one is something like twice the size? I was thinking to myself all cossies I see all have Grp A filters and not standard K&N sized ones so obviously everyone favours the Grp A but would I gain anything if I fitted one? Increase in sound/airflow?
Thanks

You would only get an increase in air flow if the std one did not flow enough and your engine was strangled otherwise it remains the same air flow.
Would most likely be a bit louder as a bigger chamber for resonance ?
