I want to upgrade the MK5's Headlight bulbs and was wondering what experiences everyone has had with different H4 Bulbs and sidelights which i believe are code 501. I'm thinking of getting these items listed on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=020
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=004
Heres a bit of the description of the main headlight bulb:
"Blue capped rather than cheaper silver capped (H4 & H7)
Contains Xenon and Krytpon gasses for a bright light
55/60W CE certified for UK road use
Amazing 7500K colour temperature!
Fused Quartz glass & Ion coating for a high light output with long life
HID look at a fraction of the cost"
And the Sidelights are ones that contain 4 LED bulbs.
Any advice/experiences welcome, cheers!

I am a tight arse so won't spend money, so get some PHILIPS EXTREME H4.
I have these in two cars after removing from each car 130/90 watt bulbs(H4), the extreme are TWICE as bright as these despite being half the wattage, and the light is pure crispy white light looks like HID when driving around a 5K light.
Both cars were on relays for the bulbs, so on the astra, I also linked up the dip so that it stays on even on main beam, VERY VERY effective for a tiny bit of wire between the light switch and the dip output from switch.
