Ronaldo Penalty

everyone seems to be like some of the complete cocks phoning in on talksport: poor performance, will get walked over in OT if we play like that. BOLLOCKS
tonight was to contain and we did that 100%. Barcelona threw everything and the kitchen sink, all possession, 20 odd shots....
End Product...???????????
FUCK ALL!
We are at home and the play will be much different.

how they played so well with a depleted barca side is beyond me, they played as well as they could if they had there proper squad out it would be all over as you lot are crap against big european sides

**edit**
found this your dead right
In his first season the highlight was a hat trick against Leicester and over the following few years he would start to build a reputation as an unpredictable but dangerous talent. He took over penalty duties for the club in 1989-90 season and from there until he hung up his boots his talent from the spot saw him score 49 out of 50 penalties attempts. The only save came at the hands of Nottingham Forest’s Mark Crossley. Although it’s hardly something to be ashamed of considering Crossley pedigree; he is one of only two keepers to have ever saved a penalty in the FA Cup final, beating away Gary Lineker’s effort in the 1991 showpiece.

Apaprt from the pen miss though best part was that ponce having to play under a proper ref....most flowing game i've ever seen Ronaldo part of, none of his tinkerbell tactics falling about

Whats funnier, Ronaldo hitting the post with a penalty, or Riise scoring a perfect diving header into his own net in the 95th minute of a home tie, giving chelsea the crucial away goal?
LOL.
LOL.

gosh your all SOOOOOO quiet today!
whether we make the final or not is more then i thought would achieve,we've turned things around so much since all our draws and poor run in the CL, not in my wildest dreams did i think we'd be in the semi's with a good chance of getting to the final we derserved to win against chelsea but thats life so anything now would be a bonus!
up the barca and ronlados pen kicks!
he sounded like a true piece of scum in his post match interview, sooo arrogant no need for it and people ask why hes hated so much!

ok...the same Barca that we BEAT a couple seasons back?
of the 3 English teams left in the Champions League, Liverpool gave the best performance, played the best football and created the best chances.....we scored twice (lol) and never looked troubled.
We may or may not go through but we've certainly not disgraced ourselves one little bit!
United were simply lucky that Messi isn't fully match fit and Ronaldinho was missing, otherwise i'd have expected at least a couple of goals last night.
United had 27% of the possession btw.....LOL. good show!
You can call us crap all you like, but that just isn't the case when it comes to the Champions League....our European record speaks for itself, What we have acheived, others can only dream of

So we are at a disadvantage then......would you not say United are at a disadvantage because they DIDN'T get an away goal?
The fact is that a 1-1 scoreline in both games will send Barca through and Liverpool/Chelsea to extra time.....not that far fetched is it?
Liverpool came in for sooo much criticism from united fans for the way we defended in 2005, yet when united do it, it's suddenly tactically perfect
Both teams will have to go for a win, that means United won't be able to put 8 or 9 men behind the ball, leaving more space for Xavi and Iniesta to thread the ball into Messi/Eto'o and Henry .
Admit it, you're worried

Well as it stands, Liverpool HAVE to score or they are out. So whatever happens you MUST score.
We still have to score, but so do Barca, so they will be opening up as well and that was not out true attacking potential shown at the nou camp. Everyone knows that and like I said, Barca threw the kitchen sink at us and got nowhere, so why should I be worried?

No Ronnie/Thuram/Puyol...
With those lot and Messi fully fit I really can't see an away goal hard to come by. But games at Old Trafford are usually decided by the refs with the big teams. If Ronaldo starts his conning again the Barca fans will be spitting blood....a bit like Cristiano was last night

exactly what i've been trying to get across but everyone still has their blinkers on.
barca played their best and got nothing out the game from 73% possession and 20 odd shots. at OT, if they try and play like that again, we're going to run riot. simple as.

We HAVE to score, You HAVE to score there is no difference. If we score we win, if they score we are tied. If you score you win, if they score you are OUT! I dont think you have the big advantage at all....

Regarding Mark Crossley, saved penalties from most of the top strikers around in his day, one of the most under rated goal keepers of our time, seriously, "Norm" is a legend
