I was wondering is anyone every heard of the function table of each sensor of an YB engine ? I need to enter these values in the GEMS DA36 program, and was wondering if this sort of thing is needed with an AIM dash for example.
Does anyone has the function table of the YB engine sensors ?
It would be greatly appreciated !

i presume you mean something like for example: resistance of coolant sensor = temp * x + y ?
if so, have a look at this thread,
https://passionford.com/forum/general-car-related-discussion/235807-yb-engine-temp-sensor-readings.html
put the values in excel and make a chart and use the 'fit curve' function to generate the function that you need. simple.
i did it for the Coolant and Air temperature sensors, but don't have the file to hand at the moment, will have a look for it.

Thank you very much for your help mate, it is exactly what I need ! How awesome 2 guys needed the same tech info at the same time hehe. Yes, it would be awesome if you could find the other tables for the other sensors. Thank you in advance !

i haven't got any other data, as the other sensors do not need scaling in the same way, for example the crank position and phase sensors just work on the principle of pulsing rather than being a function of something

VDO are a very good company. if you buy calibrated sensors, then they will come with specific tables. but you don't really need calibrated items, in which case if they do not come with the data, i'm sure that it is available to download.

- water temp
- air temp
- fuel press
- egt temp
- fuel level (I guess it goes with the fuel cell/tank)

- rpm
- battery volt
