how do you think i feel? I've got to put in petrol and the variation over the past few weeks has been as low as 103.9p all the way to 110.9p all within 50 miles

so obviously i filled up at the 103.9p place and then found it was 109.9p when i got home

I felt violated last week at the pumps - £1.18 for derv

So to contrast that, I now brim the car when the needle is pointing to 2/3 full - feels much better to see only £25 on the pump to fill it than £65

Derv was 122.9 at the Texaco at Colton, Leeds last Sunday, across the road at Sainsburys it was 113.9 - who cares about queues when there's that sort of a difference.

it is terrible - but it makes business for me and the other remappers more viable as a potential 20% reduction in consumption from a remap pays for itself in less miles the higher the price of diesel goes

I filled up with diesel the other week, normal black pump at BP, stuck it in, was halfway through tank and noticed a wee "BP Ultimate" label on it, 127.9 a litre!!!

At Colsterworth roundabout there are 3 petrol stations, two on the south side of the A1, both Esso and one on the North side which is Total. On Thursday, the first Esso one was £1.22 for diesel, the Esso literally the other side of the rounabout, still going the same way, was £1.17.9 and the Total station was £1.15.9 (which is where I went). They're always different like this and the Total station is always the cheapest.
It's so ridiculous you wouldn't believe it, but if you're driving past there just have a look, I swear it's the truth.
Basically they're just a bunch of robbing swines and they just charge what the hell they like! There is no logical sense to it and it's costing me a frigging fortune.

What pisses me off is this bollocks about them not putting duty up in the last budget. Well if thats the case, how come my fuel station seems to have gone up by 5-6p per litre SINCE the budget!

this government has given away lots and lots of money
and there are no signs that it is going to stop either, especially as gordon said he was handing over £100,000,000 the other day to help buy some mosquito nets

that £100,000,000 would be better off spent here, seeing as he's flogged of all the gold and we haven't got a proverbial pot to piss in

What can we actually do about it??????

Didn't Shell or BP announce their highest profit for xxx years a few months back? Or did I hear that wrong. The Government up the petrol prices. When they dont, the owners such as BP and Shell up the price cause they know their profits will rise and we will just pay!!!!

shell is actually the cheapest in our town, 105.9 for normal unleaded 112.9 for optimax and 113.9 for diesel

Tesco in Billingham ( 8 miles away) is 107.9 for unleaded and 115.9 for diesel

We are noticing how little money weve got after food shopping and petrol due to rising costs

government are taking the piss now
